Federal Workers' Compensation

This law firm represents federal employees in the processing of their worker’s compensation claims, which are overseen by the Office of Workers’ Compensation Program (OWCP). Our representation may include the initial filing, whether it is a CA-1, traumatic injury, or a CA-2, an occupational disease. Filing the initial claim correctly can exponentially increase the likelihood of an acceptance of the claim and necessary treatment and benefits.

After the acceptance of the claim, then begins the process of obtaining all necessary treatment, Continuation of Pay (COP) if applicable, wages, and a correct impairment rating, which can equate into considerable monies for the injured employee. If needed, we can file an appeal with the Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board (ECAB). As a law firm, we are particularly equipped to file an appeal with ECAB, should that need arise.

In regards to an impairment rating, wherein a federal employee may receive a scheduled award, there can be thousands of dollars at stake. You are entitled to receive every dollar that by law you should receive.

This is a laborious process that is hard for a lone person to navigate without professional assistance. All too often, the federal agencies' injury compensation offices and the Department of Labor do not give the needed assistance or do not provide the needed information. We are committed to obtaining all benefits you are entitled to receive by law.

Please call and make arrangements for a Consultation today.

(We do a General Consultation for all federal employees to determine what is the most pressing claim to proceed with on their behalf.)
